# excerpt/expand comments plugin??

 * Probably a stretch but does anybody know if there is a plugin that can restrict
   a comment’s length to pre-defined number of characters, and allow the reader 
   to expand the comment, if they so wish to??

 * This would be sweet because on our site, the excerpts are placed in a few boxes.
   Depending on the length of the words, the boxes have to conform to each paragraph
   and it makes for kind of a janky display. If we could restrict by character number,
   this would make everything look even.
