    Hi,
It looks like that the excerpt setting doesn’t work when caching is on.
I have a test site without caching, excerpt is set to 400 chars. It works fine. On the live system (exact copy, but with caching), I have added the CSS selector for caching (otherwise no nag is shown at all). the nag is displayed, but the excerpt is 0. Nothing of the content is displayed..

    Best regards,
    WBW

Yes, that is correct. We are working on an update to Leaky Paywall that will allow the excerpt setting to work with Alternative Restriction Handling. It should be out next week.

Please keep us updated, we are having the same issue at the moment so this would be fantastic if it comes next week. 🙂

In the latest release 4.14.4, we have added a new setting “Lead In Elements” when using Alternative Restriction Handling. With it you can set the number of HTML elements (paragraphs, images, etc.) to show before displaying the subscribe nag.
