Excerpt toggle seems to have no effect

    Hello– I love how simple and easy your plugin is. And the code is very clean. Well done.

    I’m having an issue. When I toggle the Excerpt off, it is still displaying. Is this a bug, feature or am I missing something?

    Hi @brandonjp. I’m so glad you still find the plugin valuable!

    First off, make sure you save the widget settings. Always start by ruling out the obvious 🙂

    What you’re describing is almost always the result of a theme or plugin conflict. If possible, I’d recommend you try activating one of the default WordPress themes to see if you can isolate the issue that way. If that doesn’t do it, following the standard plugin troubleshooting procedure of disabling all plugins and enabling them one by one might find a the offending plugin. In the past, I’ve included a few explicit fixes for popular plugins, so if you could isolate the issue, I could consider adding a fix.
