Excerpt bug?

    We exported the content of our site and imported it on WordPress on a VM to work on a copy of the site. When creating a slider for recent posts with WP Responsive Recent Post Slider, their excerpt (created through Advanced Excerpt, posts do not have a manually set excerpt) is not shown, even if explicitly configured to do so. Only post titles and categories appear in the slider. But Advanced Excerpt is working because excerpt is shown if Blog Post Page is created.

    The strange thing is that this does not happen if your plugin and WP Responsive Recent Post Slider are installed in sites with pre-existent posts or with new sites. In these case they work as expected and slider with posts’ title, categories and excerpt are shown.

    Hi,

    To ensure we’re not changing the content of single posts/pages we automatically exclude ‘singular’ page types.

    The plugin is mainly meant for the homepage blog posts listing.

    Will see what can be done about that. I’ll do some tests and hopefully get it working and update by Friday.

    Hi @wpkube, are there any news about the update to try to fix this issue? Or is it a bug of WP Responsive Recent Post Slider?
