# Except not displayed

 * For one layout, under Display Settings, Fields Display, I have selected Show 
   Content. Under Content Settings I have selected Show Excerpt (with Excerpt length
   of 50 words. The view does not display Excerpts maintained on posts. If I have
   added some content to the post, it displays the content but not the Excerpt. 
   Please help.

 * Hi,
    As I understand you are talking about the manual excerpt you added to the
   post. The free plugin doesn’t support this feature. It always extract excerpt
   from content. With Pro plugin, you can choose to get manual excerpt instead of
   extract it from post content. Thanks
