  • Hey dsg,

I’m trying to do the same thing, but am new to the coding aspect of things. Can you tell me where exactly this goes in the Plugin Editor?

    hi ilsrecruitment
    not brilliant at coding myself
first you need to make a child theme
    One-Click Child Theme
this creates a new directory with the chosen name of the theme
it will contain a file style.css along with some others
all css styling should go in THIS file and WILL KEEP the changes when you update the parent theme
to override css in other files and the main css file you NEED “!important;” at the end of the rule

    Hope this Helps

Thanks for the positive review and the code DSG!

I’m hoping that as Page Builder becomes more popular, more theme authors will start considering widgets that appear outside standard sidebars. Right now, in my own themes, I apply generic widget styling to the .widget class and more specific sidebar widget styling like backgrounds, borders, etc to a class like #sidebar .widget.

my I suggest that you add more configurable features for future versions like

    1. padding
    2. margin
    3. background
    4. border colour, width ,type
    5. text editor:- size type layout

at present I use this on 1 site but will be using it on even more
the layout of text is the most important feature at present got to do the text in a normal page and copy paste it to get the desired effect

Thanks For the work you have done Already

I’ll mostly rely on themes to handle 1,2 and 3. If you navigate to Settings > Page Builder you can change the bottom and side margins. That’s for all pages though – I haven’t added page by page settings.

For content formatting (4 and 5) you can try Black Studio TinyMCE. It works with the latest version of Page Builder.
