So it's late at night on the US East Coast, and I run into a conflict between my theme and Smart Slider 2. Support is in Europe (Hungary), and I'm not even sure my issue will be covered by support, but I give it a go and submit a support request. I confess, I'm not expecting much.
Within MINUTES, someone is working my issue. Within an HOUR, support finds the obscure problem (in my theme) and fixes it.
If you're like me, you've worked with a lot of plugins over the years, with support ranging from non-existent to competent. Let me tell you, these guys are the real deal. Fastest support resolution I've ever seen for a product like this, and from what I'm reading in other reviews here, my situation was no fluke.
The product itself is fantastic. Powerful, easy to use, feature rich. But in the world of WordPress, with all the variables we deal with (WP updates, other plugins, themes and templates galore), support is king. The makers of Smart Slider 2 clearly understand this.
I am very pleased with Smart Slider 2, and have never regretted paying for it.
