The title is the short review: excellent plugin, very well documented, excellent support.

    Now the longer version.

I used WPML on a simple site without any trouble. I then wanted to create the multilingual version of my Tography site. This was a disaster using WMPL, mainly because the support from the Tography team was dismal. So I decided to do a new version of my site using the theme Fiji 2 from Flothemes. It took a while for the single language version. Then I started to use WPML. After about 50 mails to and fro with the WPML support team I gave up. I then tried Weglot and was impressed. But their pricing policy was the deal breaker. Then I tried the free version of TranslatePress. After setting up everything with the Google Translation API it was a dream. Within hours I had the German version working on a site with more than 100 pages. Then I got the full version to be able to do the Spanish version as well.

Correcting the automatic translations – sometimes Google leaves a bit to be desired with complex sentences – in the front end is intuitive and straightforward. Can’t do anything wrong.

I had a few problems and these were handled by the support team at the most within a day, sometimes within a few hours.
