Yes, I think this is the greatest store locator plugin you can find out there. I’ve never had a hard time adjusting the settings that come with the free version.
My issue is being required to purchase tons of add-on packs for $35 each ($50 for some). Creating add-on packs for big complicated portions of the plugin is understandable. However, I have to spend $35-50 for all the features in the Enhanced Map add-on only so I can change the initial current location of the home marker? The version of SLP I installed originally automatically placed the map view over the largest cluster of locations. After “upgrading” my version, I discovered that I now have to pay for this functionality. Why would you want to develop your plugin in the backwards direction?
Conclusion: The plugin is excellent for large businesses who need a ton of control over their Store Locator, but the developer should revise which functionalities should be add-ons and which ones should be automatically included. To repeat someone else’s comment: “There are other store locator plugins that perform the same functionalities as SLP’s add-on packs for free.”
