Excellent alternative to YouTube player.

I came across FV Player after searching for alternatives to the YouTube embeds. Our website superstarmagazine [dot] com primarily uses YouTube embeds and we have tried every alternative out there, but none of them fulfilled our requirements of bringing the page size down. The page size was remaining the same (around 2.5MB) and Google Pagespeed was being affected. FV Player reduced the page size to about 0.5MB as they don’t load the default YouTube embed until the user interacts with it (i.e. presses play). When I first installed the player it didn’t work right away as we had so many customizations in our theme already (using custom fields for video codes etc.) I bought their premium support and Martin from their team resolved the issues in less than 24 hours (making the player work and minifying the CSS, therefore helping our Google Pagespeed score and page size). I look forward to working with their team in the future for further customizations.
