Excel cannot open this file

Could you help me?
The plugin was working just fine, out of nowhere, when I download it, I can’t open the file anymore.

This message appears

Excel cannot open this file
The file might have been damaged or modified from its original format.

And it’s just the xlsx file on this form that doesn’t open
The CSV file I can open.

And I can open the XLSX files from the other forms

I even cloned this form and managed to open his XLSX file

Hi @sergiortjr ,

It does look like a caching issue. Looks like you have a space before the * in the whitelist path, is that correct?

if you append .xlsx to the url, does that help (At least once?)). If so, then it really is a caching issue.

Can you send me the output file to info@gfexcel.com? Perhaps I can set something there. But without access to the server itself I’m not sure what I can do. If it worked before, and suddenly not, I can only think that there is some weird breaking entry.

@sergiortjr I mean the broken .xslx file. I cannot see the file, because the URL is protected by a username / password combination.

Hi @davouid,

There are numerous reasons. But the no #1 is extra content output from a plugin or theme. We try to avoid this by catching all output before we start rendering; but sometimes that’s not possible.

Try looking for extra spaces in php files from you theme or plugins. Spaces before an php open tag <?php.

Otherwise you can send the broken file to wordpress@doeken.org and I’ll take a look of I can spot something obvious.
