# Ex[anding vertical menu

 * I’m trying to find code that would give us a vertical menu that listed parent-
   level pages, that, when clicked, would expand to show their child pages. That
   expanded section of the menu would then remain open as long as we’re on one of
   the child pages.

   about how to do this on web design sites. It’s a CSS web design feature.

 * You may want to take a look at JavaScript frameworks such as [jQuery](http://jquery.com/)
   or [Mootools](http://www.mootools.net/) to make things easier (or harder, depending
   on your skill level).
