• A client of mine offers 10 classes, and each class is offered a few times each week for three months to a limited number of students, so I’m interested to see examples of sites that have customized WooCommerce for class registration and payment. I’m sure it’s entirely feasible, but would it be worthwhile? I’m having trouble find a solution that’s somewhere between a full-on ecommerce platform and event registration (I can’t seem to find anything specifically for class registration). Thanks!

Yes there are many solutions out there…Plugins..custom, you name it…For that you don’t need to use WooCommerce…

Look into Event Espresso…It was specifically built to do what you’re asking.

We use it for exactly this and are shortly going to start adding product to it for upsells. It’s a bit of a compromise but it works. Woothemes do provide a plugin for online courses that you can buy too (not for woocommerce) – we don’t use it but i’m sure it’s right for some people. It’s called sensei – http://www.woothemes.com/products/sensei/

    Here’s our site.
http://www.thecraft-studio.com/workshops – we restrict the numbers of slots available based on stock and create variations for the date choice. The calender is a separate plugin.

Thanks, chucklebum0205! That’s just the kind of example I was looking for. Looks great.

Hi chucklebum0205… Love how you did this. How were you able to change the “additional information” to the custom information you have there? The default information that is showing up there for me is the date variations…Thank you!
