# Example Delete Shortcode

 * I need to see an example of a form to delete a record. I want to enter an ID 
   number, then push the button to delete the record with that ID. So far, none 
   of my attempts display anything at all.
 * I’ve tried the shortcodes at this [topic](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/deleet-a-row-in-a-table),
   but again, no delete form is displayed.
 * As far as I can tell, this should do it:
    `[abase form="4" table="lodgingtracker"
   elements="Name$Remove" ack="red" echo="red"]`
 * But again, nothing. What am I missing?

 * More info. Examining the html code has revealed that the form is present, but
   all of the controls are hidden. I’m not sure what to do with this now.
