Hi, I am really glad it helped you with your hiking blog. I especially appreciate your volunteering to help with a new language – it’s the one thing that’s beyond my reach right now, seeing as I only do French and English reasonably well to translate it. I’ve never managed translations the way you suggested, but I’ll check it out.
As an alternative, if you’re more comfortably using the .pot directly with POEdit, you can grab it over here [1]. The help contents, though, is managed as a separate markdown file (see here [2] for base help file), but seeing as 0.2.9 will be a rather big release and will require updating the help as well, I wouldn’t be much in a hurry right now with that one.
Regards,
Alex.

Thanks for the information, Alex!
I will contribute the translation directly at the online project. There you will find the link for a PTE request, too!
Hopefully, I will find some more time to work on during the Easter break!
Regards,
Nico
A bit late, sorry about that, but I forwarded a PTE request for you.
Regards,
Alex.
Sounds good, Alex!
But, where did you write it? Couldn’t find the request at the Polyglot blog …
Regards
Nico
I think it needs to be approved. I seem to remember the system confirming that it has been successfully submitted for review, so I don’t think it will show until someone does review it.
Regards,
Alex.
Looks good, now! Hope the German moderators will react soon. Looking forward to a new German version 😉
Oh yes, it worked! I finished the readme translation. Now, I try to go on with the standard strings.
Btw. you can request yourselve as PTE for #fr_FR to approve your translated strings by yourselve!
Regards
Nico
