    This fits perfectly in the ‘decoupled CMS’ trend and will make it easier for me personally to use it on those projects (even though there are only a few as of now) where Y use WP merely as a content manager and handle the display elsewhere.

    To have this optional REST API is a step into the right direction, extendig its features for the more ‘techy’ users / use-cases.
    All thumbs up 🙂
