    Hi!
My problem is the following, when I search for the term “GATINHA” on my website, besides showing products correctly, it shows products that have absolutely nothing to do in the search, even without containing the name or something of the name ..

I use a code in my functions.php that makes the order of the products be random, so I researched those products that only have “matching” are at the end, but I wanted to hide them.

    Ex: https://makobaby.com.br/?product_cat=0&s=gatinha&post_type=product

    Hi there! 👋

It sounds like the search is not being exact due to your theme’s functionality. You can confirm that by temporarily switching to Storefront Theme to see if that resolves the issue.

If it does resolve the issue, then refer to the support docs of your current theme in case there is a setting that controls that behavior, or reaches out to your theme’s developers for a solution.

Let us know how it goes! 🙂

    Hi @makobaby01,

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, you were able to find a solution to your problem!

I could add that you can use advanced search plugins like Advanced Woo Search and see if the search results improve.

If you’ll have more questions, feel free to open a new topic at any time.

    Thanks.
