Sure, turn on EWWW’s debugging option, and then go to the Media Library and switch to List view. You’ll see a yellow section for each image, which displays the metadata from the database. Please post a couple of those (either via pastebin.com, or use blocks) and I'll see what can be done.

Thanks! Our website is bigyan.org.in (it is in the Bengali language). I am talking about the images on the right narrow sidebar. I was wrong that the ‘Custom Sidebars’ was creating those images. It was the ‘Advanced Random posts widget’ (see for example http://bigyan.org.in/2014/09/05/potter-wasp/ on the right side) creating those custom 70 x 70 images.

After I turned on EWWW debugging, this is what I get in the media list view (70 x 70 images are still missing)

    Thank you again.

Hopefully, that widget is using the wp_image_editor class/functions so that future images are all optimized, but here’s what you’ll need to do to optimize all the existing ones:

    1. optimize your media library (sounds like you already did this)
    2. put the path to your media library into the Folders to Optimize setting under Advanced
    3. Go back to the Bulk Optimize page and click the Scan & Optimize

If you have too many images in the media library, the Scan portion of #3 might fail, but I’m working on some speed improvements that will make a big difference for the next release.

    Thanks. That worked.
