We’ve created a payment form with Gravity Forms and Pronamic Pay. There are 5 notification mail:

    – Mail to admin
    – Copy to client
    – Payment failed
    – Payment received
    – Payment pending

The first 4 notifications mails work as they should. The fifth should only be send to people who abort the payment proces, but it is send to everyone. How can we make sure that this mail will only be send to people who abort the payment proces and not to people with a failed of succeeded payment?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

All payments are started with the ‘Pending’ status. The notification for this status can be used to distinguish between form entries which require a payment vs entries which don’t need any payment at all. So it can indeed be correct that this notification is triggered for all your form entries, if they require payment.

Usually (depending on the payment method being used and if processing of the payment status feedback – ‘webhook’ – works correctly), when the payment has not been completed in about 30 minutes, the payment will result in the failed payment status. Which in turn will trigger the ‘Payment failed’ notification.

This clarify things a lot Reüel, thank you! I will disable the “payment pending” notification 🙂
