    Hi,

I have been trying to setup this plugin and I have a few issues. I noticed that the events_add_booking_form shortcode uses echo in the eme_rsvp.php which causes the form to always display at the top of the page, wouldn’t using return instead work better?

Also if I uncheck the Enable registration for this event, the shortcode will still display the form on the page, shouldn’t it check for that and give a message saying booking is not allowed for this event or not show anything at all?

    Thanks!

That shortcode ws designed to give an explicit form on any page to your liking. Normally you would just use the placeholder #_ADDBOOKINGFORM inside the format settings for an event to show the booking form. There it is taken into account wether or not rsvp is enabled.
But you’re correct, it should be taken into account.
Concerning the echo: which version are you using? I don’t see an echo in the last version.

I understand about the shortcode, I just found that out by luck because I was trying some stuff. I just thought if I put the shortcode somewhere and somebody else needs to turn registration off at some point it’s easier to just turn it off in the event, especially for people who might not know to remove the shortcode in the page.

As for version, I’m using 1.1.3 which I believe is the latest released one. The echo I’m referring to is around line 148 in the eme_rsvp.php.

    Thanks!

Thanks a lot, I’ll give it a try.
