• After events plug in upgraded, my events no longer displayed on my website. I have spent several frustrating hours trying to fix the problem.

    The support is useless.

    My name is Geoff and I’m with the Modern Tribe support team. Man, I was really bummed to see this review come in and I can assure you that others on my team feel the same way. Despite the poor experience you’ve had, we hold ourselves to a high standard in making sure we help our customers using our products, so suffice to say that a one-star review feels awful.

    That said, it sounds like you feel pretty awful yourself based on your experience with our products and I am truly sorry for that.

    You specifically mention that events no longer appeared on your site after installing an update to our plugins. That is definitely not normal behavior, nor is it something that was reported in our forums. That sounds like an isolated issue that, if given the chance, we would be happy to help you with in our forums.

    Speaking of which, did you seek support for this issue? You mentioned that our support is “useless” but I noticed that you did not attempt to reach out to us in our support forums, which is our primary means of providing support for issues just like this. Your account shows no forum posts:

    It’s a little tough to imagine our support being “useless” if there was no attempt to seek support, but perhaps I’m missing something. Did you try to reach out to us in another way, or did you post with a different account? In either case, the reason I ask is so that I can look into your inquiry to help you get a solution and to find opportunities for how we could have served you better.

    Also, as a side note, WordPress.org guidelines prevent reviews for our premium plugins here because they are not available on the WordPress.org plugin directory. If you could please update your review to reflect your experience with The Events Calendar, that would be greatly appreciated.

    In the meantime, please do point us in the direction of the support you sought and we would be happy to help resolve this with you there so your calendar is running smoothly. Like I said, this is definitely not normal behavior and that leads me to believe we can figure this out together.
