    For non site admins my events do not show up in the blog. I have the “Include events in main blog loop” checkbox checked. If I login as a contributor I do not see the events in the blog but I do see them in the events list and calendar. If I login as a site admin I see them in the blog and in the calendar and list. I have checked the role permissions for the contributor type and given it all the rights I can find related to events to no avail.

    First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.

    I do have a couple of follow-up questions to better understand what the cause of the issue is:

    1. Are the events all public? In other words is there a permission-related limitation on some of these events?
    2. After a backup of your setting and while having a maintenance page up, can you tell me if the problem persists if you try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen?

    I am asking these questions because even if you check the option to include events in the main blog loop, every theme is slightly different when it comes to calling the blog loop.

    Finally, it is a bit tedious, but with a copy of the contributor role, I would recommend adding one capability at a time until you find the one that makes things visible for the copy of the contributor role.
