    hi,

might be a theme issue; e.g. how you theme works on the_content when in mobile mode however is this using the same page as your other working event listing and about if you use shortcode [events_list scope=”future” limit=10] ?

we don’t do any device-specific checking, it is definitely either a theme issue or maybe a plugin you’re using which generates a phone-friendly version of your site.

Thanks, angelo & Marcus for prompt & helpful comments.

Tried angelo’s shortcode … no change, shortcode visible only. As Marcu suggested, turned off all other plugins … no change.
Using DirectoryPress theme from PremiumPress. How can I make it work under this theme?

how about if you try to re-copy your theme single.php then rename it to single-event.php or using php/wordpress do_shortcode() ?

don’t see how this could work.

you probably need to contact your theme maker about this. We hook into the filter the_content to replace placeholders.

If your theme isn’t doing this within the loop, chances are we can’t detect the page content we have to convert placeholders on.
