Hi @axeldelate,
What if you look at the Goal events? https://prnt.sc/ktlfuo
Does anything show up there?
It did not either:
https://prnt.sc/ktnazx
Do you know hay I may be able to debug it?
@axeldelate,
It looks like it’s sending data correctly: https://prnt.sc/kue881
I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be showing up in your realtime goals/events. Do you see it in the historical views?
If not, I’d double-check your view and filter settings.
Hey Andrew I have found why this issue is happening.
I followed your instructions, but I have noticed:
step 5.-Set the Goal details
1.Set “Category Equals to Contact Form” <– Here it should be “Contact Form 7”
Hope this helps to other people
Cheers
And again thank you for developing this 🙂
@axeldelate
Thanks for the update; I’ll fix the instructions.
Hey there,
Where are these steps?
I have the same issue but can’ t find the documentation.
Thanks a lot.
Christoph
@efab
There was a bug sending different categories based on how you had Google Analytics configured on your site.
v1.8.4 fixes it, so you should be using “Contact Form 7” as the category.
The steps are listed in the FAQ section for the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cf7-google-analytics/#how%20do%20i%20set%20a%20goal%20in%20google%20analytics%3F
