I am already using your plug-in on one site and am considering using it for another not-for-profit whose site I’m about to rebuild in WordPress.
This organisation offers classes for which you have to be a paid-up member to enrol. If I use Events Manager as a way for people to enrol for classes, is there a WP paid membership plug-in that will integrate nicely with the ‘members only’ option on an Events Manager event?

try s2member and then upgrade your EM to EM dev version 5.4.4.2 or 5.4.4.3

You can verify dev updates like this : http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/upgrade-dev-version/

Thanks for the prompt response. The organisation runs classes in four terms in a calendar year. My aim is to have a new WordPress site up replacing their existing site in time for term 4, giving us another whole term to experiment with plug-ins before the enrolment for 2014 (initially we will just use EM to provide a calendar function). So I think I can easily wait for stable v5.5.
From my own investigation it was looking like s2member was the most appropriate choice for the membership management function, but it seemed sensible to ask the experts if one was hoping to get two plug-ins to cooperate with one another!
I’ll mark this post as resolved, but I’ll report back later this year on how it all went, as I’m sure there must be others with the same issue.
