Hi, events (fixtures) and league table are not in sync when I edit results. I put in all the results which updated the league table (division 1 league table), only some of which were showing on my Player Form page. All fixtures updated on my league table so I thought I would reset the scores and try again but nothing seems to have synchronized and the table is still showing the results even though I reset them all back to nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am testing the plugin on a free domain that I have with a view to replacing our current website so feel free to get in touch if you’d like to get access to it as its in maintenance mode, please let me know.
I did try to import fixtures (csv attached) which all imported correctly but when I put in the results it didn’t update anything, so I deleted them all then created the events manually which updated the league but only part of the ‘Player Form’ table. I did notice that the permalink structure on the import was the default (numbers) but I had changed it to the ‘name’ structure in settings.
Being able to import with a csv would be brilliant if it worked as would save me much time. I have been using a different plugin the last 2 years which is no longer being supported. So far I am impressed with your plugin, looks like it will do an even better job than my current one and I have been looking at the other features too. I am looking to replace our current site at the end of the month, I just want to make sure it all works 100% before making the change. Sorry for waffling on, looking forward to hearing from you. Great plugin, all the best.
when in the admin area looking at the list of events, you get the option to input the results there. This does NOT update the table etc. Only by editing the event and putting in the results does it update. I think I done a combination of both which is why I ended up with anomalies. Perhaps this should be looked at. I am using the latest version of plugin and the recommended theme (themeboy) and the site is fully up to date too.
further follow up: adding the results in the admin area does update the league table and results, however…
I also have a player list which contains all players which is used to display ‘player form’ (win, draw, lose percentage etc) so everyone can see who’s performing well.
This does not update when I input the results in the actual event admin area (like I have to do for the league table), this list only updates when I input the information in the events admin area list (quick way to put in results).
Furthermore, it can all only be done by first: inputting the results through the admin area events list (quick method), and then editing the actual event to put the scores in again even though they are already there…
Anyone else got this / noticed this? or is it just me?
Hey, I have just checked it again and the player form has updated now. I think it seems to take a few minutes to update the information, I will test again later on. thanks
Hi Savas, I have removed cache plugin and the issue still remains (scores not updating when I put them in). But now I am getting to the source of the issue…
I am importing ‘events’ which is pool fixtures which is player vs player.
When I import the events the plugin creates ‘teams’ consisting of the players names. I do have player vs player configured in settings.
Should this import the players instead of teams? If so, does the plugin search for the player already in the system when importing and skip if found/create if not found?

Thank you Roch… this is why I am having difficulty. I guess I will have to use teams instead of player mode which is a pity. I could always add players to each fixture but with 1000 fixtures to create you can understand why I would prefer to import all the information. thanks again.
I have cache plugin disabled and it has been for a while. Another admin applied incorrect results to a match, the league table details were updated as you would expect. When the issue was noticed the scores were amended (removed as the match actually never took place) but the league table still shows the points from the initial input. There is no issue in changing scores as I tested this, but removing the scores does not remove the points from the league table.
I know we can manually change the league table but I thought I would let you know. I feel this thread is still relevant for this additional information.
Hi Savvas, thanks for your reply. I have managed to remove the outcomes now using my laptop however there is not option to remove via mobile browsers (tablet/phone) only options to change.
If you go to the edit page of the event, there is a Meta-Box called “Results” where you can add/edit your scores and the outcomes. This meta-box is shown whatever device you are using.
That is correct, but when you try to edit outcome you get presented with 3 dropdown/radio options – Draw, Loss, Win. There is no option to remove the outcome like on the desktop browser (which has an ‘x’ to remove).
