events do not appear as post

I have tried publishing the upcoming events in a carousel or a slider, but only the posts appear.
I already tried to change the configuration of the events to appear as a post or as pages.
I also tried different plugins such as: slider revolutions, post slider and carousel and the banners within the newsment theme, but only the posts appear and not the events.
consult forums and resorted to the technical support of the theme. I love Events manager because it is complete and functional, I would not want to settle for another.
