  • Hi Justine, thanks for reaching out!

It looks like there is a lot of extra spacing in the actual HTML markup of your dates. Are you abel to check your date format settings (Events > Settings > Display) to make sure those spaces aren’t being added there?

Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Hi Geoff,

Thanks for your reply. However, I am merely using The Events Calendar’s pre-programmed data entry interface and so I don’t think I have any control over the date format settings via (Events > Settings > Display). These have been left as per default.

I can merely see the html markup for the description of an event – not for anything else – and the description of an event isn’t where the problem is presenting itself.

    Would appreciate further feedback.

    Thanks,
    Justine

    Hi Justine,

Does the same thing happen when you activate a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Fifteen? How about when deactivating other plugins? I’m curious if your theme or another plugin is overriding the date settings in some way.

    Cheers!
    Geoff
