Support » Plugin: The Events Calendar » Events Calendar: Date Picker (EVENTS AM) shows wrong (past) date

  • Resolved katjawporg

    Dear Community, dear Support Team,

My free Events Calendar, which I am using with the Goodlayers Infinite Theme, has started to always show 28.12.2019 (i. e. Dec. 28, 2019) in the date picker in the header of the Events Calendar for site visitors (when I am not logged in into the site). As this is a past date, it means that the list of featured events starts with past events following that date, starting January 2020. Therefore users have to scroll a long way down to get to the current dates.
When I am logged in into my site and view the Events Calendar from there, the correct (today’s) date is shown, though.

Any idea what “28.12.2019” is due to?
How can I correct the date shown for site visitors in the calendar header – either to show to current date or to show no date at all (so that the user can enter his favorite – future – date)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Warm regards,

    Hi @katjawporg,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry for the delayed reply.

I’ve checked the website and the date picker is working fine >>

Have you managed to deal with your issue?

    Hi @iammarta

Thank you for coming back on me. Yes, after an update of either my Theme (Infinite), WordPress or the Events Calendar, the date picker started to show the correct date again.

    Everything fine.
