We use the standard Facebook-developed plugin to provide native Facebook integration. On the event setup page, there’s a custom fields section that now includes the field “post_to_facebook_page” with a value of 1. This is showing in addition to the standard Facebook plugin section at the bottom of the event with a checkbox to select whether or not to push the event to Facebook upon publishing. The value of 1 in the custom field is tied to the checkbox being selected – if I uncheck the checkbox, the value changes to 0.
Upon publishing an event, I am getting 3 posts to Facebook: 1 time with a correct link to the event page and 2 times with an incorrect link such as /?post_type=tribe_organizer&p=683 and /?post_type=tribe_venue&p=684. This behavior does not occur when publishing a normal post – it only occurs on Events.
