    We’ve had a number of issues with the events tool since updating to 3.8.3. The maps are no longer appearing on events but far more important is the fact when we go to edit an event and save, the event is deleted.

    Do you know what is causing this and how to resolve?

    Editing an event never deletes it, the sql statement is even an update, so if the event dissapears something else is wrong.
    Do you have any errors in your webserver logfiles?
    Do you have custom action hooks for EME in place in your functions.php or elsewhere?
    Can you give me an admin account and a test event so I can check this on your side?

    Ok, I found the issue: you’re using a newer jquery version that’s not supported by the jquery plugin I use for time entry. Because of that, when you finished editing, the time was reset into the past (look in your “past” events, you’ll find the ones you thought were deleted).
