# Events – Multiple Donations

 * We’re a small non-profit and have decided on GiveWP for our donations. We have
   a small event each year and wondering if GiveWP could be utilized as an basic
   event management system. The tricky part is the event (a surfing competition)
   has divisions and competitors can register for multiple divisions. Form would
   look like the following:
 * [ ] I want to surf in Mens Division + $5
    [ ] I want to surf in the Open Division
   + $5 [ ] I want to surf in the Longboard Division + $5
 * The [ ] represents a checkbox, if the surfer checks the box it adds the extra
   $5 to the total.
 * Is this possible for GiveWP. I see similar functionality in the WooCommerce addon:

   Basically, I need the ability to select multiple donations within one form.

 * A few ideas for implementation:
 * 1. Just mark the form as “Multi-level Donation” but have a “Display Style” of
   checkbox or multi-select
    2. Solution could be multiple forms embedded together
   but just 1 set of contact info (name, email, address, etc). Short code could 
   be a comma separated list like: [give_form id=”1162,1166,1168″]
 * Also, such a feature will be useful for donations too.

 * Happy to provide some guidance on this.
 * That’s not something that’s possible out of the box with Give, but it’s a popular
   request that we have made a custom snippet for.
 * Because this is in the form of custom changes to the way Give normally works,
   there will be instances that the functionality isn’t fully featured, but this
   gets you most of the way there.
 * We put together a Ticket Incrementer helper plugin for this purpose, which you
   can see here:

 * The instructions at the top of that snippet within the comments walk you through
   how to use it.
 * This is also a full plugin just like the add-ons that you have already purchased.
   Just download it to your computer, upload it to your installation, and activate
   it.
 * Implementing this in a staging environment for testing before doing it in a live/
   production environment is always a best practice.
