    Hello and good day.

I had this plugin installed on a site.

After the last WordPress update, it disabled itself and I had to reenable.

I am adding a new RSVP event and noticed the plugin is not installed.

    Hi @rayeason ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to reproduce the issue in my testing environment when I upgraded it to the latest WordPress version 6.9. Are you saying that you’re no longer able to install and activate the Event Tickets plugin on your site?

I was able to reinstall and activate.

My concern is that it disappeared.

This would be the second time something strange has happened to this plugin.

    Hi @rayeason,

The problem you encountered cannot be replicated on my website, either. Could it be that you have a plugin that manages other plugins? It is most likely the case because Event Tickets need the administrator’s intervention to be enabled and disabled.

Yes, there an update manager which updates the plugins and themes.

But it does not deactivate and delete plugins.

If there was a WordPress conflict with the plugin, I have seen plugins get deactivated.

    But not uninstalled.

    Hi @rayeason

Thank you for getting back to us. Usually, when the free version of our plugin is updated but the premium version is not, the premium plugin will automatically deactivate if it detects an incompatibility with the free plugin. However, this is the first time we’ve heard of the plugin being uninstalled or deleted as a result. By any chance you have one of our premium plugins?

Have you had a chance to contact your hosting provider about this issue? They may have received similar reports or be able to provide additional insight.

We have your Events plugin installed but it’s the free version.

    I will investigate more.

    Thank you.

That would be great if you could investigate further, @rayeason . Having a way to reproduce the issue in a consistent manner is important information for our products team to quickly address the issue. Please feel free to let us know how things went or if you have further questions/concerns.

    Hi @rayeason

I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to achieve with the snippet you shared. When I checked those functions, they don’t appear to exist in our plugin files.

Could you please let me know what you’re trying to accomplish? That way, I can better understand your goal and assist you accordingly.

Also, could you please try reinstalling our plugins and check whether the issue persists immediately? Additionally, does the issue occur right away, or does it only happen after a few hours or after a day?

    (@rayeason)

Hi @d0153 I did not share anything.

    Hi @rayeason

I apologize for the confusion. I was specifically referring to a part of the snippet you shared in this reply:
