    Using Avada, and the pro versions of both events and event tickets. Just added my first event ticket to an existing event. Got a box with three columns, the center and right of which are the text I entered, and the first us supposed to be the fields for name and email. Instead, it’s several tiny boxes with “+” or “-” apparently representing those fields.

    Any ideas?

  • OK.. I do now see that the first box is supposed to be the number of tickets. (Thing is, those columns are several hundred pixels tall…) No image appears. Something is messed up here 🙂

    OK… here’s the problem: the code is putting in two “-” buttons and two “+”.

    Unfortunately, it’s compiled code, so I’m not sure what to do about it.

    Since this (the double call of + and – buttons ) does -not- occur in the _purchase-a-ticket_ code, but only in the _RSVP_ code, (I’m looking at DevTools in Chrome) I’m assuming it’s a programming error in Tickets instead of elsewhere. (But who knows? 😉

    That is so weird!

    I don’t see the same duplicated plus and minus plugins on my test site using a default WordPress theme (Twenty Sixteen), so my hunch here is that there is a conflict with Event Tickets and the Avada theme.

    Would you, as a test, try updating to the latest versions of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus? We just released new versions two days ago and I want to see if that resolves the issue.

    Hopefully it does but, if not, then we might need to try reverting back to an older version where the conflict does not occur and then reach out to the Theme Fusion team for more guidance as to where there might be a conflict.

    In fact, I do have the 4.4.01 (and all the latest versions) installed, and I too was hoping that would fix it. As you can see, there’s no such luck.

    What is interesting is that it happens -only- with RSVP ticked. The sale of tickets does not show the doubling. DevTools shows the double lines in RSVP but not in Sales:

    Here (in case you’re interested, and using DevTools) is the sales page where the problem does not occur:

    Check the buttons in DevTools on that URL, and you’ll only one line for each button instead of two.

    This sounds like it may be a theme or plugin conflict. I recommend going through the steps here to test for a conflict.

In short, to try to track this down, I’ll have to create a new test site and frankly I don’t have the time to do that right now. Meanwhile, we will just forego using reservations until I have the time to recreate everything. (The public site is
