The lengths of the fields, the lack of dropdown menus, the strange text with no checkboxes where I’m assuming there should be checkboxes…there’s a whole host of things wrong with my event submission form and I can’t begin to figure out why. I would be most appreciative if someone would take a look and school me on what’s going on.

i’m using the simple [event_form] shortcode, and it’s resulting in this:

  • Hi,

Is this a private event? I’m not able to view it.

My bad. I didn’t have my anonymous user set up correctly. You should be able to see it now.

I figured out that part of the problem was to do with a badly coded theme. Getting rid of calls to older versions of jquery, I’ve managed to get the date picker working, but not the time picker. Any idea why one would work and the other wouldn’t?

another thing to try is to temporarily disable your theme javascript one by one to determine what causes the conflict.
