# event status field

 * I would like to check if there is a field to show the status of the event such
   as published, cancelled, completed (finished), postponed and so on… (depending
   on the user needs) whereby the author can update this status.
 * Is there any demo that i can see such status (front or backend)?
 * Please kindly advise.

 * As an editor, you can definitely set the **Event Status** to
    (1) **Scheduled**(
   2) **Cancelled** (3) **Postponed** (4) **Moved Online**
 * in the **[classic editor](https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluWzyEx)** or **[block editor](https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuW4lgJ)**.
 * Then, it would look like **[this ](https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuWlE5l)**on
   the front-end.
