    How can I add a search filter that will display the event record when try
   to search selected event from the dropdown?

 * Sorry but I don’t clearly get what you mean here. Can you send over a link to
   see a screenshot of this? If you could clarify in which page this dropdown is
   located it will help as well.

 * I am wanting the same but will start a new thread.
    I am sure they mean instead
   of filer show calendar it shows the list like upcoming events does or a blog 
   list does.
