 * I set my event to repeat every week but it seems to have repeated everyday.

   send a printscreen of the general settings of the even to see how the repeat

 * Have checked the printscreen you have sent. The plugin displays the events everyday
   because you have added an event that starts on 11/12 and ends on 11/30
    As a 
   fact, the events you have created lasts 19 days (in this case the plugin displays
   the event on all of the 19 days) and repeats every week. You can change the event
   start and end date to a single date and the plugin will display the event once
   a week.
