I have the same problem. For some reason only 5 events are showing up on my page however I have 10 events that have been added and approved. Please HELP!
This has been resolved in the latest version.
I created a test event and went to the events page is specified, but nothing is appearing.
I’m experiencing this same issue… fresh wp 3.9.1 install and getting a 404 on /events/ …
I tried creating a new page and used the documented shortcode: [eom-events] and this isn’t working either. It’s just spitting out the shortcode as-is.
/places/ is working correctly… but the events page isn’t.
