Event missing some deduplication parameters error

    Hello,

    I’ve set up my Facebook tracking pixel and events using the Facebook plugin, but I’ve received a couple of errors through Events Manager.

    These are:

    “InitiateCheckout Event missing some deduplication parameters”, and;

    “Purchase Event missing some deduplication parameters”

    I’d really love some help fixing these as I’m not a coder and I don’t know what I’ve done wrong. I’ve had a look at the Payload helper but I’m afraid I wouldn’t know where to put the code to fix the missing deduplication parameters.

    Hi @sohanhossain, I’ve had a read but the solution seems to be to wait for the team to wait while the devs look into it?

    I also don’t have any API integration with Facebook as the other user does, so I can’t use the same temporary solution of disabling the pixel.

    I think I might just try using that code snippet plugin and adding the code Facebook suggested then see if the error goes away.

    For the capability to disable both pixel and conversion API, yes that should be waiting our developers.

    That sounds like a good plan!

    Let me know how it goes. Otherwise, as temporary workaround, at least you might want to disable the pixel.

    Disabling the pixel could help resolve the issue since only server to server conversion events are sent to Facebook (no deduplication needed).
