Event Manager German Installation Issues

Hi, I have successfully installed the German translations and configured my site correctly, however, I see that the translations for countries and cities, as well as other terminology e.g. “All Regions” are not being translated. How do I incorporate these .mo files, or should they work automatically once you configure your site to translate to German?? I understand that the language files are located in includes/langs, but that still doesn’t help me out.

This issue is positively killing me. Please help!! Thank you!
