Event image displayed as post WP Featured image in full width size

    Hello,

    By default the format setting for the single event (post) doesn’t show the event image but for some reason on my website it display the image as a WP Featured image in full width size. If I choose to display the event as a page then the featured image disapear but the comment box dispear too.

    Do you think there is a possibility to remove this featured image in single post event ? or alternatively, add the comment box in the single page event ?

    just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Hi Gelo,

    I’ve followed your instruction and disable all the plugins and felt back to the Twenty-fifteen theme. I can guarantee the problem is not related with plugins or theme.

    Try adding the #_EVENTIMAGE placeholder to the formatting where you want to the image to appear.

    @caimin_nwl in fact I would like to remove the image that is displayed without any placeholder.

    I have removed the image with css.
