Event date is being changed when published

    Hello and thank you for a wonderful event list!

    I am having a problem with the event date selection. I have an event on Saturday, 12/07/2019 – however, when I input this date and publish/update it changes the event date to 12/06/2019. I have tried logging out, force refreshing, etc and it still changes the date.

    Please help! Thank you!

    FYI – I have forced the date to be displayed correctly by selecting the day after the actual event… it then converts the date to the day before….??? While this works, it is certainly not ideal. Any help appreciated!

    Another FYI – ALL EVENTS (previously listed with correct date) now have the wrong dates…. each is offset by 1 day (the day prior to the actual event)

    Hi,

    Strange.
    Can you tell me which version of WP you’re using and wich version of VSEL?
    And does date in Settings > General match today?

    Last plugin update contained integration of the new core function wp_date().

    Hi all,

    I don’t have this issue at my own websites. So have to look into this, but there are more reports about this date issue at the Make WordPress Core page.

    Can you please add a native (regular) post, and tell me if the publishing date is correct?

    Hello Guido,

    Thank you for all your work on this!

    I am running WP 5.3 – Vantage theme

    VSEL version is 4.0

    Date in settings is correct

    I created a test post and in the published date on the all posts list as correct… meaning it said a few seconds ago.

    Please note I tried the trick of going one day ahead and it did not work..I had to go 2 days ahead . in one case..

    Also FYI I had to change the title and when I updated it changed the date back again.. even though I did not do anything to the date I simply changed the title

    I am using WP version 5.3, PRO-Child Theme version 3.0.4. The published date is correct and the general settings shows correct date and time.

    VSEL version is 4.0

    That’s an ancient version and will not work with WP 5.3, but I guess this is a typo?

    Because I don’t have this problem at my own websites, I would like to contact one of you so I can get a temp admin login to test it myself.
