 * How do i set the date of an event. Every time an add an event it shows as right
   then. If i change the publish date it goes into draft mode. What am i missing
   please?

 * Are you logged in as an administrator or event manager?
 * Post types in the future will be displayed as “Scheduled for…” but will still
   be visible as an upcoming event.
 * If the status is being set to “Draft” (not the publish date) then there might
   be a plugin or something else causing this.
