The screen shot appears to be of ticket cut off date, not event date? Is the issue relating to cut off date?
Hi Alan, I am not sure if I have understood you correctly. The problem refers to the “Date” field.
I did some further tests and for me, it seems that the “time” field is related:
Test 1: Date without Time selected
I created a new event. I added only the title and selected 13 Nov 2022 in the date popup. After pressing save the date is changed to 12 Nov 2022.

Test 2:
I created a new event. I added a time (“10:15”) and selected 13 Nov 2022 in the date popup. After pressing save the event date is the correct date 13 Nov.

Test 3:
I created a new event. I added a time with some text (“Start at 10:15”) and selected 13 Nov 2022 in the date popup. After pressing save the event date text in the date textbox is still 13 Nov 2022 but the text right to the textbox shows 12 Nov and 12 Nov is shown on the website.

Maybe with my comments, you can reproduce the issue?
I have set up as as per your screen shots and can not replicate it.
I am wondering if it is related to your server time?
I can understand why option 1 and 3 do one thing and option 2 does something different as option 1 and 3 will stored the time as 0:00 which is ‘dangerous’; being midnight. But cant get my head around why 1) I cant replicate it 2) Berlin is UTC+1 ( maybe that is the issue but not sure which way )
Hey Alan,
did I understand you correctly you can’t replicate case 1 (“my error case” without time) but you can replicate 2 (with time) and 3 (“my error case” with time and text)?
My website is hosted by a German provider so I am not sure how to determine the server time?
I did a further test and changed the “Timezone” in WordPress -> “General” -> “Settings” to “UTC+0” and the issue is gone. Also for “UTC+2” the issue does not occur. But as soon I change to “Berlin” I have the issue with cases 1 and 3.
Can you replicate the issue when changing your WordPress “Timezone”?

We will look at this in detail during the week.
I may have some diagnostic code for you to run then.
Thanks, Alan. I just edited my previous comment. The WordPress “Timezone Setting” seems to influence the behavior.
Hey Alan,
are there any updates to the issue yet? Could you reproduce the issue? Do you need more information?
Hi, sorry I have had no time this week to work on free plugin support due to several factor including 6.1 WP release.
It is on my list though.
