I am new to word press 2.9, but caught on fairly fast, a week and have set up website shout.queerwest.org/, everything looks ok. I can’t decide if I need an event calendar.
What I had planned to do was name Category: Shout Events
Then list each event as Shout Event: Feb 24 etc and all the details and pictures location etc.
I did this for Category News and Videos, it seems like a simple solution to me.
I am also trying Event Calendar (beta) it does the same thing, but has a lot of bells and whistles I probably won’t use. I had hoped to find an event calendar that if up updated it for monthly event, it updated Category: Events at the same time. I couldn’t find anything like that, or I didn’t understand the instructions. I think there are about 42 event plug-ins.
I am not new to web content editing, I work on the main site, a separate designer made the main frame and helps me here and there with coding.http://www.queerwest.org SHOUT is a subdomain using wordpress.
I was wonder if some could offer simple advice or opinion? Is my solution not to use an event calender logical?
