 * Is there a widget that will display Event Articles? I’d like to have the home
   page automatically pull the latest Event Article and display it.

 * If you can add some code by yourself, then WP function [get_the_content()](https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_the_content/)
   is the way to go.
 * Otherwise you can use a 3nd party plugin like [WordPress Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate](https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcodes-ultimate/)
   and use a shortcode like `[su_post field="post_content" post_id="48"]`
