• I use both the free and pro version. My friends who need a basic, responsive, easy to use slider get the free version. My sites love the pro version.

Sure the free one is limited, but folks who are whining about limited features should step up and buy the pro version. The pro version is reasonably well features, still pretty easy to use and well supported.

Compared to other sliders, (and I have bought over a dozen responsive sliders), the pro version is a bargain, especially if you have a lot of websites and want to embed video fast. Also, the license is a “buy one time”. Check out some of the other products and you have to buy a licenses every year.

The “Lifetime” licenses is by far one of the best deals on the web, especially if you manage a lot of websites.

At some point you get tired of “free” plugins with slow support or that are dropped by the developer because of no donations. WordPress updates often, your plugins need to keep up.

Just how long would you maintain something for free? Whether that be through a forum or email support?

FYI, I paid for my version and don’t know the developer other than through occasional need for support.
