There is a currency field for that:https://smartforms.rednao.com/currency-field-just-added-in-2-6-6/ it is used more for currencies but it can be also used to format numbers.

thx for your quick answer. And yes, I’m using currencies. But this field does not look as good es the prepend text field, which I use with the Euro symbol.
Any other suggestion? I really don’t want to change to another form tool.

Are you using the fields that you want to transform in any formula or these fields are only used to display information? If you are using them only to display information i think i can give you a code to change the number format. Fields with different number formats are no longer considered numbers internally so they can’t be used in other formulas.
