    Hey Complianz team,

    In the current version of the Complianz plugin (4.8.2), in the European cookie policy, the cookie listings/tables in section 6 (“Placed cookies”) are hidden using the CSS rule, display:none.

    Screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/JFa6gGKA.png

    I had to write the following CSS to make them visible to visitors:

    #cmplz-cookies-overview .cmplz-service-desc.cmplz-service-hidden {
    display:block;
    }

    Why is this crucial information hidden? Not everybody can write their own CSS to make it show up. This issue occurs regardless of whether the “Use document CSS by Complianz” option in the Complianz settings is turned on or off.

    Hi @mrmatteastwood,

    With Document CSS enabled under Settings, it should look like this;

    When disabled, the information should show immediately. Could you tell me if Document CSS is enabled?

    regards Aert

    Hey Aert, thanks for your quick reply 🙂 Yes, with document CSS enabled, the dropdowns/accordions look like the ones on the page you linked. However, when clicking them, they don’t expand.

    Document CSS is not enabled on my affected site.

    I’m now wondering whether it has to do with the other issue I encountered, where the banner wasn’t displayed and where I then found out that the website isn’t using any cookies that would warrant a banner. Could that be the same reason the information is hidden?

    Hi @mrmatteastwood,

    Could try disabling of CSS minification, and if this is the issue?

    If you enabled document CSS, you can still style the policy as you like with custom CSS.

    #cmplz-cookies-overview .cmplz-service-desc {
        display: grid!important;
    }

    This seems to work as well,

    regards Aert

    Thanks Aert! Minification was actually already disabled.

    Yeah, that’s pretty much the CSS I used to make the contents visible – it’s definitely a workable solution. 🙂 Thanks!
